Rebel fighters retake village en route for Tripoli

Rebel fighters in Libya say they have come a step closer to fulfilling their plan to march on Tripoli.

They say they have retaken a village south of the capital that had previously been lost to forces loyal to the government of Colonel Gaddafi. It came after a day of bitter fighting. Five rebels were killed in the clash at Al-Qawalish. Fifteen were injured and taken to hospital in nearby Zintan.
