Nafusa Mountains: Gheryan: Freedom fighters in Gezaan and AlEbaas and Awlad Bu Salamah captures 20 of Gaddafi's men from the Sahbaan Battallion near to Gezaan. After this, freedom fighters set up a trap for the Imhamad Battalion by pouring oil near the bridge to the medical bridge/entrance to Taghsaat. This caused the vehicles of the Gaddafi forces to slide causing many collisions causing the road to close. Many of Gaddafi forces were injured, many of their vehicles were destroyed.

Nafusa Mountains: Al-Qala'a: Freedom fighters of Al-Qala'a raise the flag of independence near the junction of Al-Soadna to provoke Gaddafi forces based in Gawaleesh. Gaddafi forces responded with 3 mortar shells which coincided with NATO aircrafts surveillence of the area. NATO aircrafts then shelled Gaddafi forces in the region.
